Adam Dicker lists Newfoundland.com on Flippa, clean of any “shill bids”

Take me to Newfoundland, eh?

Take me to Newfoundland, eh?

Adam Dicker, owner of DNForum, has just listed the domain name Newfoundland.com on Flippa.

The apparent motive: Halifax.com that ended unsold on Flippa by some other seller, had a bid of $266,000 that looked quite suspicious; the seller claimed that the reserve was just $1 higher than the high bid.

The Halifax domain has been re-listed since, with a $200k reserve. Will the bidder of the original $266,000 bid take advantage of this great discount? 😉

Meanwhile, the Canadian island and province domain Newfoundland.com is a PR4 and Adam Dicker states that it receives more than 30,000 unique visitors monthly.

Same guy that had halifax ran another auction for livestock.com at the same time, both were “just” under reserve bids. Yea right.. add him to my blacklist. Scammers everywhere.
