AOL acquires Oath.com and Oath.co domains

Oath is the new face of an AOL/Yahoo merger, and for that matter they acquired the domain Oath.com.

Canadian domain investor, George Kirikos, identified the buyers of Oath.com as stealth acquisitions firm, Treadstone Group.

Oath.com belonged to the World Media Group, owners of a large generic domain portfolio.

AOL also acquired Oath.co which was up for sale for $9,999 dollars.

Both domain names have had their WHOIS information updated today.

The new brand, Oath, is a Verizon company, after the latter bought Yahoo for $4.8 billion dollars.
