Bad karma: Flight214 gets registered in .com, .net and .org

Great job!

Great job!

The big news of the day is the crash-landing of flight 214 from Seoul to San Francisco, with miraculously very few immediate casualties. Dozens were injured, and remain hospitalized.

So Flight214.com got registered already, along with the .net and .org.

We don’t want to hear that it was registered for a “good cause“, or for the benefit of the victims etc.

There is only one reason such domains get registered: to be monetized in the event that some book or movie is made, or a lawsuit is rolled out.

In the interim, some of those domains are even parked to reap revenue from natural type ins. Expect at least one of them to show up “for sale” in some forum or other venue.

In the end though, bad karma awaits those that desire to profit from the peril of others.

Congratulations, assholes.
