Broadband.org sold for five figures on Sedo

The domain name Broadband.org ended up at low five figures today on Sedo, after only one offer sent it to auction.

Registered in 2000, according to top WHOIS tool DomainTools, Broadband.org was sold for just $12,500.

That’s pretty low, considering the term “broadband” returns 347 million results in Google.

The dot com is developed, however, while the keyword is taken in every TLD known to man – including .XXX 😀

I have the same term in .im.

Not a well-known ccTLD, but “broadband” is a great term.

I’m not surprisedit’s regged in just about every extension.
