The latest and greatest release of Mozilla Firefox has arrived, and release “23” is delivering a new foxy logo, among other things.
Those of us who delved into HTML since the mid 1990’s will recall the <BLINK> element, that turned text on and off repeatedly. That element has been terminated in Firefox 23, along with its CSS counter-part.
Not a big loss, in the era of HTML5.
The new Firefox logo has visual adjustments in the globe and the “fiery” fox; mostly esoteric changes that Firefox users won’t even notice during daily use.
Meanwhile, Firefox23.com has been registered for a couple of years now and it’s not being used, clearly a waste of renewal fees as Firefox is updated several times a year.
