Chinese domain market report : China’s powerful domainers

Chinese domain sales report.

Chinese domain sales report.

The Chinese domain investors who attended the World Domain Conference last month, were among the most powerful in Asia.

Not only because the market is jumping with domain transactions currently, but also in terms of capital on hand.

The number of Chinese entrepreneurs that are involved in domain investing follows different principles than in the West.

Instead of traditional domain investing, many of China’s powerful domainers spend money on domains to keep it there, as vessels of wealth.

It’s just like investing in the stock market, that received a huge monetary blow last year, or other digital commodities, such as Bitcoin.

The Chinese government’s reach has so far avoided tapping those digital realms of wealth storage, and domain investing in China is thriving.

The second half of this year, has been spectacular, just as George Hong, founder of Guta.com predicted at the beginning of the year.

We keep track of short domains that change hands in China, between 2 to 4 characters in length. This range includes the ever-so-popular “Chips,” LLLL domains that contain no vowels or the letter “V.”

Focusing on the .CN, .COM and .NET TLDs, we produce domain lists, daily, for your perusal.

Here is the list from the past 24 hours:

China is the rising star in domaining world. Why people from other countries don’t usually buy numeric domains?
