We’ll have to run an update soon to gauge the volume of LLLL .com domains still under Elequa’s control, as he’s sold plenty of LLLL .com domains since last summer.
Sales volume of “Chinese letters” seems to have reached its peak for now, but that’s to be expected as we’re approaching summer. Domain sales prices hover between $1,150 and $1,400 dollars.
We keep track of Chinese domain market sales of domains that are between 1 and 4 characters in length, in the .CN, .COM and .NET TLDs.
As a parenthesis, OFO.com, a domain sold for seven figures by Chinese powerbrokers Guta.com, is now in the possession of a Chinese bike rental company. They upgraded from OFO.so, having received massive financial backing in the hundreds of millions. Congratulations, once again, to George Hong of Guta.com for brokering this LLL domain sale.
