The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, promotes the use of non-violence on MLK Jr.’s birthday – a national holiday in the US.
Bernice A. King, CEO of The King Center announced plans for the 2014 observance of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., with a special emphasis on inspiring and educating youth to “Choose Nonviolence.”
“We will commemorate the 85th birthday anniversary of my father with an array of exciting and uplifting programs and events to encourage people everywhere to choose nonviolence, particularly young people,” said Ms. King, announcing plans for the 2014 MLK observance. Ms. King said that the “Choose Nonviolence” challenge will permeate The King Center’s multifaceted 10-day program.
For that purpose, the domain name ChooseNonViolence.com has been secured, as early as November 19, 2013, according to DomainTools.
Unfortunately, the domain is still undeveloped, and currently parked at GoDaddy. We hope to see some constructive anti-violence content on it, soon.
