CNN: iPhone 4 more important than D-Day

Let’s cut to the chase: CNN sucks – they are a bunch of unpatriotic pencil pushers.

There, we said it.

All day yesterday and even so today, CNN failed to allocate even a single major section of their news web site to the battle of Normandy in WWII – also known as D-Day.

The single biggest sea to land operation in history, involving 160,000 troops of which almost 10,000 died or were wounded, began on June 6, 1944.

France was quickly liberated and Nazi Germany’s final standing came soon after. It was the beginning of the end of WWII.

Meanwhile, both yesterday and today, CNN features neohippy tech guru, Steve Jobs and his latest gadget, the iPhone 4 right on the homepage.

Really, that’s some serious lack of sensitivity towards the WWII and D-Day veterans, CNN.
