Remember Bobak Ferdowsi?
He made history with NASA in 2012, as the JPL engineer sporting a memorable “mohawk” hairstyle, celebrating the successful mission of Curiosity on Mars; he was quickly dubbed “the Mohawk guy.”
When his name got squatted as a .com, Bobak did not succumb to the $500 dollar selling price. The domain still shows up “for sale” on Sedo.
As an engineer, he calculated his final “landing mission“, and after we let him know of its availability, he registered BobakFerdowsi.com a year later with Name.com.
Forward another Earth year, and Bobak Ferdowsi, who uses the handle @tweetsoutloud on Twitter, started using his domain as a personal blog about his day as a NASA engineer.
