The premium generic domain Father.com has changed its content and mission statement, in the days before Father’s Day.
Once parked with affiliate content, the mega-keyword domain is now a joint venture between two established entrepreneurs.
Their new representation and use is as “Father Brands” : A boutique brand group specializing in direct sales to Target and global IP licensing.
Partners Amy Pfingsten, President and founder Zach Mandelstein, are launching a series of products and brands alongside the Father.com platform, including:
- CC Skye
- Father Apparel
- Flying Uke
- Upper Playground
Surely a smart way to utilize a strong keyword domain and turn it into a worldwide brand. The domain itself was registered in 1993, according to DomainTools.
