Father Domainicus: For whom the bell tolls

Oh Father, where are thou?

Oh Father, where are thou?

Greetings and salutations, my dear brothers and sisters in domaining. This is Father Domainicus, returning from a much needed sabbatical, and oh so ready to deliver my Sunday sermon.

Many a domainer of this fine congregation, our Domain Church, were concerned by my recent absence from writing. A sweet lady from the south side of town even called to see if I am in good health.

I assure you, that my health has never been better, what with our Domain Lord blessing our Domain Church daily.

During my sabbatical, I was able to research the modus operandi of many a domain investor and deliver advice on how to improve their lives and supplement their domainer income.

Additionally, in my numerous interactions with other members of the Domain Church, I have come to the natural conclusion that ignorance and pettiness go hand in hand.

My domaining children, when you are not familiar with a certain subject, such as domain investing, or graphic design or both – you are advised to stay in the sidelines and remain quiet. While freedom of expression is a paramount right, you are risking global ridicule when you proclaim to be an authority of something, when in fact you are an apprentice with minimal skills.

Those that do that, know in their heart what I’m talking about; I cannot reveal more because I would be in violation of the oath of silence I partake into.

And now, onto some great news, this fine Sunday – which also happens to be brother Elliot’s birthday – my retirement from preaching has been postponed for yet another year. The Domain Church has decided to renew my appointing as domainus emeritus and I shall be leading our wonderful fellowship into the 5th year of DomainGang.

I leave you with a warm, brotherly hug and a kiss on your forehead, renewing my promise to return soon.

Yours, in so many different ways,

~Father Domainicus.
