Flippa: Mortgage (.)info auction ends at five figures USD

The auction for the premium keyword domain, Mortgage.info, ended at Flippa, with a final price of $10,100 dollars.

Despite the seller’s grandiose headline of “possibly the best .info on the planet“, the domain received 15 bids total and the auction ended below the reserve price.

It is interesting to note, that Mortgage.info was first registered in 2001 during the sunrise registration period, by a company that claimed a French trademark going back to 1987.

According to DomainTools, Mortgage.info was re-allocated by Afilias in the summer of 2013 and its current owner is not associated with the original owners, or the claimed trademark.

I think that’s a pretty good price for a .info in this market!
