Historical domain sales tool NameBio hits the chopping block

Since about 2007, NameBio.com has been an indispensable domain tool that provides information on domain sales.

One can search the NameBio database for parts of a domain or by TLD, and view historical data about how much it was sold for and when.

NameBio.com is missing in action.

According to the web site:

[…] NameBio.com The searchable domain sales index. Here you will find domain sales comps, domain sales history, domain sales comparisons and domain sales comparables, domain auction results, and domain name resources as well as general domain information and tools.

On a couple of occasions, particularly after upgrades to the web site, NameBio produced some buggy results; all was soon fixed.

It’s shocking seeing that the domain is currently listed for sale, being parked at Frank Schilling’s InternetTraffic.com

Let’s hope that the owners of NameBio.com will bring this indispensable domain tool back! 😀

Update: Apparently, the forwarding to a for sale page at InternetTraffic.com was a temporary glitch with the NameBio DNS. The domain is now fully operational, just a few minutes after this post. Yay! 😀
