Female US soccer team goalkeeper, Hope Solo is the new owner of the domain name, Solo.com
The 5ft 9″ athletic soccer (football outside of the US) player was ecstatic, as Sedo announced that her offer of $133,000 for the domain was accepted.
“I can’t believe it, I now have the ultimate web site to point to my facebook”, said Solo, while warming up for week 7 of Dancing with the Stars.
“Like, I mean, HopeSolo.com is cool alright but since I’m now without a boyfriend, I’m like, “solo” – get it?”, she said with a broad smile.
Hope Solo received numerous dancing awards for her performance so far during six weeks of the top show “Dancing with the Stars”.
The domain name Solo.com will apparently be pointed to her facebook page to better communicate with her numerous fans.
“It was a smooth deal”, said Sedo broker Dave Evanson over twitter.
“Hope Solo is smart, beautiful and quite gorgeous actually. She loves dancing, domains and facebook. And I enjoy my brokering commission, thank you very much Hope!”
Expect Hope Solo to make the official announcement at “Dancing with the Stars” next week.
