Ben Horowitz is co-founder and General Partner of the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, based in Menlo Park.
Simply put, the company invested $250,000 in a small start-up, named Burbn, which was to offer micro-blogging services.

Based on that acquisition, Andreessen Horowitz saw their $250,000 investment grow 312-fold into $78,000,000!
