NamesCon 2017 : No ambiguous bathrooms during the domain conference

NamesCon 2017 might be more than half a year away – we are too lazy to check – but its organizers are working hard to deliver a great domain conference.

A recent social issue that has risen is that of public bathroom use.

Several states in the US dictate that the segregation of men’s and women’s bathroom should observe the genetic phenotype of the patrons.

In other words, if someone *looks* like a man, but are a woman, they’d better not be seen using the ladies’ room, or cops might escort them out.

“We decided to go with one classification, ‘domainer’, and one type of bathroom for all domainers,” said Jothan Frakes, co-founder of NamesCon.

“All attendees, regardless of gender, are domainers, and will share a common facility to do their ‘business,’ if you catch my drift!” exclaimed Frakes, winking.

The use of a single category bathroom will save hundreds of man, and woman hours by ensuring focus is on business and not bladder matters.

NamesCon organizers have also revealed the new sticker to be used during NamesCon 2017, on all bathrooms.

“By making it clear that all domainers are welcome to use the bathroom facility regardless of gender, we’re setting yet another standard for the global domain community,” said Richard Lau, smiling.

Looking forward to attending the biggest domain conference of 2017, via NamesCon.com.
