NASA lands Martian rover with TRAFFIC hall-of-fame list

NASA has sent the first commemorative plaque with domainer names to another planet.

After a successful landing on Mars at 3:45am EDT, the Curiosity rover set forth on a journey across the dusty Martian terrain, where it released a gold-plated list of domainers.

“It’s the gift of a lifetime that I had promised to my friends and associates,” said TRAFFIC co-founder, Rick Schwartz, clearly in high spirits.

“The first domainer list on Mars, incredible. Opportunity of a lifetime, and what a promotion for TRAFFIC!” exclaimed Rick.

The gold-plated granite plaque was successfully set in the red Martian sand at approximately 4:29am Eastern.

The TRAFFIC Hall of Fame is now on Mars.

“I can now go catch some sleep because I stayed up waiting for the Mars landing, thank you NASA for this amazing mission”, said Rick Schwartz, looking rather sleepy.

Everyone who made it to the domainer list, will be given the opportunity to be on a NASA queue for a manned mission to Mars – if they are still alive by then.
