New study shows 40 percent of Domainers register in the nude

Seattle, Washington – The Menard Institute

In the summer of 2004, Dr. Anthony Phibes – lector of sociology at the University of Palermo – decided to study human behavior in the social strata of technocrats and entrepreneurs.

For this purpose, he invited young men and women to participate in his study and experiment. The study was kept secret, until the first information about the astounding results started to leak two months ago.

The results will be published in “Sociology & Science” – the publication of Harvard University’s medical department. We have an excerpt available for you, after being able to social-engineer our way to the woman who handles the magazine’s typesetting, 28-year old Chelsea Brown, a buxom mother of two.

From Chapter 7 – “Domain owners and their online behavior“, the results are truly shocking:

… that this behavioral deviation is common among domain owners, who often sit in front of their personal computer in the nude, in a manner reminiscent of the ancient caveman. The lack of any inhibition and prudeness, signify the positive psychological evolution of the young entrepreneur’s mind, whereupon the left and right lobes within the skull define the process of engaging in action; notwithstanding the ability to entail concentration while in the nude, most domain name registrants perform well – at times, even better – without the annoying restriction of clothes; the percentage observed peaked at 39.88% of the annual testing sample.

It’s clear that Dr. Anthony Phibes will cause a huge wake in the domaining waters, when Sociology & Science goes to print next week.

After discussing the research results with Rick Schwartz, he hinted of a possible social experiment in the upcoming TRAFFIC domain conference in New York.

Sure, why not, we’ll call it ‘Domainer Eden’ and the domainer participants will be in the nude – they will have to sign a release first. I’m thinking about a social experiment, a foreplay into the best nude activity domainers can have.

Ticket sales for TRAFFIC / New York skyrocketed, following Rick’s statement; we can’t wait to see the outcome.

  1. What was Dr. Anthony Phibes doing with this research since 2004? He should have worn something so that this report was available soon. This is 2009 culmination and domain owners need fresh reports so that they can register related domains fast!
