ICANN-accredited registrars need to diversify in order to stand out from the rest of the crowd.
While industry giants like GoDaddy offer a lot of eye candy in the form of boobalicious, leggy female promoters, a Wisconsin based domain registrar wants to make a difference.
“We decided to offer domains and bundle them with basic, useful medical services at a discount rate”, says Pete O’McBowell, president of Smaller Is Beautifuler Domains LLC.
“When you register 10 domain names with us, you get a $75 gift certificate that can be used for medical exams and tests with our affiliate medical facilities”, says Pete.
Domainers have the option to choose from a variety of local providers performing exams such as Pap tests and breast checkups for women, to prostate examinations and erectile dysfunction assessment for male domainers.
“Nothing better than being healthy and still registering domains, in this industry we can do both at a discounted rate”, adds Pete O’McBowell.
The service is currently offered locally, thus bringing in domainers from as far as Alaska and California.
