Did you ever come across a dirty plush toy on the street, a lone shoe, or a well-used, soiled book on the sidewalk?
Many of these items aren’t necessarily trash; they could have been lost or forgotten behind; and now there is a web site to share their sad existence with the rest of the world.
Before you say, but there is Instagram, SadStuffOnTheStreet.com is so much better.
Without any fancy borders and beautification of the photos, sad stuff on the street is giving those random findings an extension to their sad lives.
Most of these items are from New York, but also from around the world as well. There will always be a sad story behind every item lost, forgotten, or tossed out on the street.
