The .XXX gTLD has clocked a year in exxxistence; the one and only adult TLD on the planet, celebrated its one year anniversary with a party at Rachel’s strip club in Orlando, Florida.
“It has been a tremendous year, and we have proven everyone wrong,” said the ICM Registry CEO, Stuart Lawley while tipping a dancer.
“Just by sheer numbers alone, Search.xxx is now the de facto search engine for sexually curious teenagers, geeky 20-somethings in need of a girlfriend, and 40-plus husbands of overweight wives!” exclaimed Lawley.
Last month’s stats for Search.xxx – the adult search engine – reveal that 92% of searches are looking for content, regardless of the TLD. This might as well be the last remaining breaths of both Google and .com.
“We never hid it, we said so from the get-go: .XXX is for adults, with adult content, for adult experiences. And we’re rolling out more gTLDs next year: .porn, .sex, .adult. So get your grubby little paws ready!” said Lawley.
