Sedo : Indigenous Americans to get domain discounts

Officially, we celebrate Christopher Columbus today, for fighting sea sickness and taking no showers for two months, in order to re-discover America.

Today, many indigenous (native) Americans may still recall legends relayed through their families, of a long-lost era when it was free to roam the land.

As appreciation to those long-oppressed tribes of American natives, Sedo celebrates “Indigenous People Day” giving away discounts.

Just for today, all domain sales ending via a BIN price have zero commission.

In fact, their sellers – as long as they are certified native Americans – get 12% back.

“We’d like to show our appreciation and declare October 12 as the No Tax Day at Sedo,” said Sedo general manager in Boston, Frank Baumeister.

“Only once we realize that Columbus Day is a misplaced holiday that insults the indigenous people of America, we’ll rediscover our true selves in the domain industry, and in humanity” added Baumeister.

The no tax sale day will hopefully be followed by GoDaddy, Flippa, Afternic and NameJet, the other largest domain aftermarkets of the domain industry.

Happy Indigenous people’s day! 😀
