Sedo removes SnapNames.com from its marketplace

Prost! It's Friday.

Prost! It’s Friday.

It took them the better part of the week, but finally the deed is done: Sedo has removed the domain name, SnapNames.com, from its domain marketplace.

Apparently, it should not have been there to begin with! 😀

The location of the seller was “Antigua & Barbuda“, nothing like the Luxemburg based KeyDrive that owns both SnapNames and Moniker.

Additionally, if KeyDrive really wanted to sell SnapNames.com they would not put it on Sedo! Doh! We had no doubt this was a glitch.

In the past, Sedo had allowed the domain name Example.com to be listed in its marketplace; the domain is reserved by IANA.

It’s Friday, so time to celebrate with some fine German beer. Prost! 😀
