Serious Sam 3 - The most anticipated game of the decade is finally out.
It’s finally here: Serious Sam 3 was released late yesterday, more than six years after its prequel, Serious Sam 2.
The Croatian game developer, Croteam, is packing the game with explosive, blood-spurting gameplay that will leave everyone who loves first person shoot-them-up games completely satisfied.
The game is set in Egypt and features a 16-player co-operative campaign mode, as well as 4-player splitscreen mode.
The timing is perfect; right before Thanksgiving and what a great time to stuff your …virtual turkey with a variety of new guns and ammo that Serious Sam 3 provides.
For the record, the domain name SeriousSam3.com has been owned by the Croteam developers for years, according to the WHOIS tool DomainTools. However, the company prefers to use SeriousSam.com as the generic URL to enter the game’s portal.
Serious Sam 3 is available through Steam as a digital download for $39.99 – or you can order the DVD for $10 more; the latter version packs the original two versions plus HD video footage.
