ICANN 48 continued today in Buenos Aires, and many of its participants are already facing a first world dilemma: eat more steak, or dance more tango?

Argentina is famous for both; restaurants such as El Mirasol De La Recova, one of the best bar & grill steakhouses in Buenos Aires, attracts a healthy crowd of anti-PETA ICANN’ers.

“I could not believe how juicy and large the steaks are, this alone is worth flying to Argentina for a domain conference!” exclaimed J.P. an ICANN member from Texas.

“Us Americans need to open our culinary eyes, so to speak, and embrace foreign cuisine, that’s the beauty of an international organization such as ICANN, we go places baby!” added J.P., while cutting through a large, charred piece of prime steak.

At night, ICANN officers partake in tango dancing, at the world famous milonga gatherings, that attract tangophiliacs from around the world.

Argentinians are proud of their body’s contour and dance almost daily, to maintain their good genes’ performance and physique.

“I’m trying to shed some pounds and fit into that tight pair of black pants, but the good food isn’t helping!” said Mike S., an ICANN analyst from the Midwest. “My God, the women dancers are amazing, now I have to go back to Wisconsin and stare at overweight people, ugh!” added Mike S.

Overall, it seems that ICANN 48 is a success, making CEO, Fadi Chehadé, quite proud of his achievements regarding the upcoming Internet expansion and gTLD allocation process.
