Looks like it’s getting warmer for a new educational gTLD, dot .College.
The Sunrise phase is live, during which applications are taken for trademark holders; presumably, those that have already registered with the TMCH.
Dot .College is aimed at higher education organizations, institutions and communities around the world. The 30 day Sunrise period started on Tuesday.
Also, dot .Site and dot .Tech are launching soon; .site is set to launch into a 60 day end-date Sunrise on May 7, followed by .tech on May 25.
Dot .Site currently has more than over 100,000 pre-registrations.
All three upcoming gTLDs are managed by CentralNic.
