The Big 45 domain sale and Mike Mann’s candles

Mike Mann in an uber-cool pose

The domain name 45.com was sold for $280,000 to a Chinese buyer, according to DNJournal’s weekly report of sales.

But that’s not the only significance of the number:

Uber-domainer, Mike Mann – the domain investor who knows How to Make Millions and Make Change – celebrated his 45th birthday yesterday.

As part of the festivities, Mike had lunch with retired domain blogger, Sahar Sarid and praised his vegetarian focus and taste for cool cars.

Happy birthday Mike!
