Democrats scorn and Republicans rejoice: Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich launched a new web site yesterday, aptly named Time for Newt.
The web site contains very little info about Newt Gingrich and makes a bold statement:
“Who says we have to compromise on the candidates we elect? The liberal media and Washington elite want to choose our candidates for us. But, we don’t have to accept their unprincipled, handpicked stooges. We can choose someone with proven conservative credentials. Someone who can debate Obama . . . and win.”
TimeForNewt.com is clearly a campaign web site; for that, a politician might not need their full name after all – this might also be the case with Italian PM Mario Monti.
Time for Newt dot com has its contact info behind WHOIS proxy, according to DomainTools.
