Voula Papachristou: No more tweeting!
The Greek triple-jumper, Voula Papachristou, has apparently learned a hard lesson and has quit tweeting.
Since her public apology about a tweet that was deemed racist by the Greek Olympic Committee, resulting in her banishment from the Greek Olympic team, Voula Papachristou has not tweeted.
Papachristou also deleted the offensive tweet, which can still be found in cached copies in Google; we’ve saved it below for posterity, along with the original reactions of Greeks who found her tweet to be racist and tasteless.
