When DomainGang started out in September 2009, it was meant to be a repository of ‘quirky stories’ and other anecdotal news and information about domain names, and the domain industry.
Back then, the plan was simple: if something made the domain industry news, report it. If it were an outrageous and ‘outside the box’ idea, then create a parody story out of it.
Two thousand plus news articles later, the same formula still applies – and we aren’t going to change it, because it works.
Although there are several other categories such as Famous Domainers (39), Stories & Manuals (80), Short News (449), Editorials (146), Featured articles (10) and the infamous Daryl the Drunk Domainer (RIP), we treat those as secondary to our primary content of Domain News, which hosts more than 2000 articles.
