Domain investor, friend and great human being, Lonnie Borck, has passed.

It is with great sadness that we deliver this news.

His final resting place will be in Baltimore, Maryland, tomorrow Sunday.

Rest in peace, Lonnie. Our condolences to your family, and love to you.

A short bio follows:

Lonnie Borck first became involved in the domain industry years ago, at a time when it was still in its infancy. He has since divided his time between domaining and owning & operating several businesses, including two upscale restaurants. He recently sold his restaurants to focus solely on developing his domain portfolio.

In 2007, Lonnie’s sale of Scores.com for $1.2 million was the fifth highest recorded sale of the year. Lonnie is a co-founder of a web development company which recently launched its first startup, NetRocket.com, a bookmark scheduling service. NetRocket has been showered with industry accolades and continues to gain a loyal following.

They recently purchased Bookmarks.com to add to their portfolio of names for development in conjunction with NetRocket. Lonnie has become a recognized leader in the domain industry, whose advice and opinion is regularly sought by his colleagues.
