Asking for trouble? Trademark domain disclaimers

It’s one thing to abstain from registering domains that are free of any obvious trademark violations.

It’s another thing to slap a disclaimer at the bottom of your domain, stating that should such a trademark exist, the domain will be transferred free of charge:

We have no interest in violating intellectual property rights. The domains pointed here have been long-held, without issue and are generic or descriptive in nature.
