    KINGrex.com is still open……

The sedo bid was fake. The seller got someone to bid on it. There’s a thread about the $395K bid on DNF. The same member who owned the domain continued to list multiple for sale threads after this so called sale.

Thanks Gnanes. Is that the same owner as the current seller?

    DNF: member havlock

He listed the last for sale thread for rex.com in 2009. You might have to check the WhoIs history to see if it changed hands from 2009 until this year.

The Sedo bid in 2007 was never faked, It was vetted by Sedo at the initial bid as a regular buyer on Sedo, and confirmed during the week it sold as well. The buyer never produced the funds and strung it out for months and ultimately failed to pay. It’s amazing to me how many people post things as fact and never bother to get their facts straight, confirmed or checked first.

I sold the name in 2009.

Not sure what happened in today’s NameJet auction as I don’t understand how they can cancel the whole thing AFTER it’s over.

I just found out the member Havlock sold the domain back in 2009. The Sedo bid was real but the buyer didn’t pay. Today’s auction has been cancelled.
