SeaWorld trainer Dawn Brancheau with Tillikum - the killer whale.

Apparently the holder of the domain name Tillikum.com registered it with the intention to resell it. As the web site mentions:

Tillikum.com is for sale. Tillikum is the Pacific Northwest word for people and relatives. It’s the perfect name for a family, group, or community web site – short, easy to remember and meaningful. Asking $25,000.

Unfortunately for the owner of Tillikum.com, a killer whale at SeaWorld in Orlando by the name of “Tillikum” violently shook and killed a female trainer.

The name Tillikum is thus as of now, tainted, as it’s associated with a violent event that has cost the life of a trainer. It is unknown whether the whale itself will be spared or if it will be terminated, as it’s the second time that it has killed a human.
