New string of Stolen Domains starts off 2012 on DNForum

Stolen DataA ‘Stolen Domains‘ thread over at NamePros which was started in July 2011, received the addition of dozens more stolen domains today, thus marking these as the first reportedly stolen domains of 2012.

It appears that scammers using a series of stolen accounts, stolen identities and compromised PayPal accounts attempted to sell a large number of and domain names, along with various other combinations.

The giveaway is the low pricing of these domains, that even in bulk don’t justify pricing of $300 a pop for an or $3,000 for a!

As a precaution, buyers are advised to refrain from buying domain names from new forum members with zero feedback; to use Escrow when possible and to avoid sales threads that sound too good to be true!
