BMW cars are among the world’s most reliable; the German automaker formed in Munich in 1916, almost 100 years ago.

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG filed a UDRP against the owner of the domain name, B.MW – a ccTLD from the African nation of Malawi.

The Respondent is a Japanese company, Living By Blue CO, Ltd.

Domain hacks can fetch a pretty dollar, and the owner of B.MW reportedly wants $1.2 million dollars for it!

Dot .MW domains cost around $95 dollars, at 101Domain.com.

We would not expect BMW to spend this type of money on a domain hack, and it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.
