Belgian company won’t go Dutch; files #UDRP against DAN listed #domain

Belgian company MindWave cv chose to file a UDRP against, a domain registered in 2012, instead of buying it for 999 Euro.

The domain was listed for sale by its registrant on the Dutch domain platform, The decision favored the Respondent, and cost the Complainant at least $1,500 to file, not including administrative costs towards its corporate lawyers.

Final decision: Deny transfer of the domain to the Complainant. The Respondent now has a unique opportunity to raise their asking price multi-fold.
