One of the important lessons extracted from the report, is that latecomers often attempt to wrestle away generic domain names from their owners; such attempts deserve – but do not necessarily result in – a finding of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking (RDNH.)

That lesson could not have been more timely.

On Friday, a UDRP was filed against the generic domain name, at the National Arbitration Forum. The domain is registered in the name of Uzair Gadit, CEO of PureVPN.

As the case is fresh, there is no indication about who is the Complainant.

We’ll be watching case #1634154 for to analyze its decision, once information becomes available.
