#02silverado .net : The #TLD doesn’t matter, as long as the #domain is cheap or free!

When you want to sell something on the Internet and need a domain, the extension itself doesn’t matter; what matters is the cost of the domain name.

If that domain is free, or at least cheaper than a .com registration, the end result will be using that cheaper TLD.

That’s the case with 02silverado.net, a domain that has no existing .com registered, and here’s why.

Its registrant is selling a 2002 Chevy Silverado, and set up a basic website. He wants $1,000 dollars for the car. That’s insanely cheap, so he registered a cheap domain from a registrar that apparently offered some type of freebie.

Now then, we aren’t sure if the deal is legit, or if there are any issues with the car. For $1,000 bucks, it sounds too good to be true to be honest, so proceed with caution, and take the car out for a ride.

As an additional example of how little it matters to use a .com, the email address they use ends in dot .online. 😀
