Brand failure: Piggy-backing on Glasgow.com

Domain entrepreneur, Tommy Butler, is proud of his primary asset – Glasgow.com

The ever-busy Scottish businessman has developed Glasgow.com into a portal with information related to the heartland of Scotland, and he’s very proud of his achievements.

Butler acquired the domain Glasgow.com from Nat Cohen of Telepathy, in 2003.

Surprisingly, Tommy Butler saw a fashion store in Glasgow that seemed to be using “Glasgow.com” as their URL on their store window.

Apparently, it was just an epic fail in displaying the full URL – ACDCGlasgow.com – which is about clothing for the metrosexual among us.

Definitely a branding failure! Take a look at the picture below! 😀
