Bruce Marler: I told them to stick to e-mail!

One can't trust USPS for delivery anymore - Bruce Marler recommends email.

Missouri.me founder and operator, Bruce Marler, launched his business on a non-dotcom TLD.

But that did not stop the Missourian domain entrepreneur from seeking success via a business model that focused on local businesses.

Marler’s company, Localtek, is planning to launch more portals for other US states that he owns .me domains of.

Meanwhile, hundreds of pieces of mail fluttered onto interstates in eastern Missouri Sunday after the back door of a contractor’s semi carrying mail for the U.S. Postal Service popped open.

According to CNN news, the mail was scattered along 70 miles of highway near St. Louis, according to Postal Inspector Dan Taylor, who said the tractor-trailer was carrying mostly statements and bills bound for the West Coast. He added that he didn’t think any personal mail was lost.

Bruce Marler immediately issued a statement:

“I told those buffoons before that they need to get rid of bill statements sent via US mail. They need to switch over to emailed statements that cost zero to send. The entire incident could have been avoided, had they consulted with my company, Localtek. I plan to launch yet another portal in the coming months, for businesses in Missouri that will enable bills to be created and sent out to their recipients at a fraction of the cost!”

So there you have it, an unfortunate incident for the struggling US Post Office becomes a business opportunity for domain entrepreneurs like Bruce Marler! 😀
