Bruschetta.com: French company folded losing generic domain name!

French company Tradi-Qual was founded around 2002 trading a variety of products, including cookware and other related supplies. At its peak in 2014, it had a turnover of over 3.1 million euro.

Operating from the domain name Tradi-Qual.com, the company folded and was dissolved in 2022, letting its domain name drop. Unfortunately, along with it, the generic domain name Bruschetta.com also expired and dropped.

Bruschetta is an antipasto from Italy consisting of grilled bread that is rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt. It’s delicious and popular in Italy, France, Europe, and around the world as an appetizer or intro to a larger meal.

Registered in 1997, Bruschetta.com was in the possession of a French registrant since the very beginning. By 2003 it resolved to a web site under the control of Tradi-Qual, so we can safely assume that Tradi-Qual is the continuation of the original French registrar of Bruschetta.com.

Losing Tradi-Qual.com led to the eventual drop of Bruschetta.com which was caught by DropCatch. The auction ends in 2 days with the current bid being just over $800 dollars.

If you are a fan of bruschetta you might find this generic domain to be of delicious interest.
