Chinese domain market report : No “fake news” allowed in China

Chinese domain market report.

Chinese domain market report.

Glad to live in America, where delivering parody news, even when critical of politicians and the government itself, equals protected speech.

In China, it’s going to get serious soon, as the State Internet Information Office has urged increased vigilance in cracking down on “fake news” on the Internet.

According to ChinaDaily, a number of heavy-visited news portals, such as Sina.com.cn, 163.com, caijing.com.cn, qq.com and toutiao.com were fined or disciplined for running news that allegedly broke these rules.

Let’s hope news sites from China that decide to use DomainGang content, get to read the disclaimer at the bottom of every page, or risk getting slapped by the Communist government.

We keep track of domain sales occurring in China, for domains that are 2 to 4 characters in length and in the .CN, .COM and .NET TLDs.

Today’s list is a composite, consisting of two days’ worth of domain names.
