Chinese domain market report : QT.com changed hands again

LL .com domains are popular in China.

LL .com domains are popular in China.

The Chinese domain market is about to replicate its glory days of 2015; last December is when LLLL .com domains peaked.

China’s domain investors might not be using the same type of rationale behind their acquisitions, but their cash is as good as anyone else’s.

With that in mind, we are witnessing an uptick in domain transaction volume. Prices are stable for now.

The good news is that the ultra-premium two letter .com domains will continue to fetch large amounts of cash.

QT.com, an LL .com domain that sold for $615,000 dollars in 2015, according to NameBio, has once again changed hands.

The new owner is as before, Chinese, and Canadian domain investor, George Kirikos, won’t have to adjust the number of LL .com domains moving to China.

We keep track of the Chinese domain market of short domains (2 – 4 characters) in the .CN, .COM and .NET TLDs.

Today’s list spans November 21st – November 22nd.
