Cinco de Mayo celebrations for Domainers

On May 5, 1862, the Mexican army defeated the much stronger French in the battle of Puebla.

Since then, every ‘Cinco de Mayo‘ becomes a major cultural celebration, with food, parades and assorted displays of Mexican pride.

To commemorate this day, the Mexican domain registry is issuing a free 6-pack of Sol beer and a double chimichanga with each registration of a .mx domain.

Although ‘Cinco de Mayo’ will also be remembered as the final day of Bido, domainers around the world should view this Mexican holiday as an opportunity to relax and celebrate domaining with good food, drinks, and dancing.
