Cook Islands : Grabbing your own .co.ck isn’t too expensive

The recent auction of the domain Cock.com via NameJet created lots of guffaw, and some jokes.

The $93,000 dollar auction ended with the winner adding another large apparatus to their collection of domains.

From a cursory research, they own Webmasters.com and WebCamModels.com already.

But why spend almost six figures when you can register a .Co.ck domain?

The Cook Islands are located in the middle of the South Pacific and are a small range of islands; they are directly associated with New Zealand. They were also recently added to the WIPO treaty, so any trademark violations using .Co.ck can be dealt with swiftly.

According to 101Domain that specializes in many ccTLD domains and not just .Co.ck, one needs to spend about $249 dollars to get one.

While this isn’t exactly cheap, it’s cheaper than $93,000 isn’t it?

At the time of our research, both big.co.ck and stiff.co.ck were available, as are fat.co.ck and suckmy.co.ck.

Would you register one? 😀

I thought Domain Shane won the auction as it was an exact match. How could he pass that up?

Check out my website, yeah? It’s well fucking futile.

Check it out yeah, trashbat.co.ck, my web site. Dot cock yeah, registered in the Cook Islands.

Here’s the credos: trash, as in what’s all around us. And bat.

I’m a self facilitating media node.
