Credit.Club domain was sold to Russian financial institution

Credit.Club now in Russian ownership.

The legendary domain, Credit.Club, has been sold to a Russian financial institution.

Its former owner, Bruce Marler, shared with us the great news.

The buyer is now using the domain as an “Internet portal for alternative lending” and credit is provided by the “loan shop” Credit Butik in Russia.

Credit.Club, a premium .CLUB domain that Bruce registered on an accidental release by the Registry, had its fair share of “controversy” at the time of the registration.

The .CLUB Registry validated its registration, however, and everything was officiated.

The sales price was in the upper four figure range, not too bad for a hand registration. The sale was initiated via the Uniregistry Market and completed using Escrow.com.

Congratulations Bruce, or pozdravleniya, as they say in Mother Russia! 😀

Congrats Bruce! Great sale. Not surprised you found a buyer in Russia as .CLUB is very popular there with many mainstream businesses, including a popular supermarket chain, Smartory.club, using a .CLUB domain. Congrats on finding a great end-user for a great name!
