Domain broker, David Clements, has a difficult task ahead, after relaunching the domain brokerage newsletter once managed by his brother, Toby Clements.
The good news is that with the relaunch of the Brannans brand, David stepped up to the plate, addressing existing issues and proceeding with resolving them.
In a fresh post at DNForum, a domain investor whose domain was sold by Toby Clements a while back, left a glimpse of hope for others anticipating to be paid:
“I have great news to report, Toby’s brother, David Clements has just paid me for the name his brother sold many moons ago.
I contacted David after seeing the newsletter he sent out and he assured me I would be paid in full soon.
True enough, after a week, I am now paid in full. I recommend you contact him as well, and GOOD LUCK to all and thanks again DAVID.”
David Clements faced fury and unsavory comments for the way his brother Toby handled several domain transactions, but it is worthy of a praise that he’s now able to work towards the resolution of existing issues.

I am giving David a chance.
He said he will be using Escrow.com for all transactions.
I am assuming that means Buyer and Seller both to enter into Escrow.com agreement.
Buyer to send funds directly to Escrow.com
Funds disbursed by Escrow.com directly to Seller and Broker (brokers fee)
If this is the way it is now then it should be fine.

I think Toby is a coward, in taking peoples money for no right at all, 50 percent commission is robbery enough. Why are you people so crazy to give your domains away, then do escrow less transactions.
Honestly I don’t know if this person was paid back on the basis they come out and post all these hoopla. Until every party is compensated it is not right. Toby is not sitting around twiddling his thumbs, he is most likely working behind the scenes, trying to make some quick cash.
