Domain broker Toby Clements pays off part of outstanding balance

Some have money to burn, others don’t pay.

Domain broker, Toby Clements may have “fallen off” the face of the earth in recent months, but a sign of his attempts to pay off existing debt balances was disclosed today.

In a DNForum thread, titled “Toby Clements Scammer Still In Business? Not Paid In Full For The Domain Sold In December!”, there is an update documenting a payment Toby Clements made:

“Toby paid 25% of the outstanding balance this week and he is hoping to settle the remaining balance to the end of the month. He is trying to settle the money he owes and we do appreciate it.”

There is no additional information on the exact amount involved; a few weeks ago Terri Camp Stevenson came forward, wishing Toby did “the right thing” over a brokered sale that occurred in January 2014.

Since that article was posted, Terri shared with us additional information: due to lack of payment by Toby Clements, she was forced to not renew and let go of several inherently valuable LLL .net domain names.

For several months, Terri Camp Stevenson attempted to collect the money to pay expenses, managing her late husband’s domain portfolio.
